2016 Round 1 Reserves vs Stony Creek

Round 1, 26/03/16

Phillip Island Vs Stony Creek

The reining premiers got their year off to the perfect start with a very convincing win over Stony Creek at home, With alot of new faces and many under 18s from last year stepping up to the seniors the Bulldogs had plenty of zip around the ground.

Tristan Tack has been putting in the hard yards and it showed hitting the score board early with a great goal.

Alexandrew Redmond was everywhere racking up hard ball gets.

Adam Rodgers got the second quarter underway with two quick goals, James Nicolaci has been training hard and made the most of every opportunity with the ball.

At half time the Island had a handy 38 point lead but there was plenty more to come.

Youngster Brandon "BJ" Field was using his youth and pace around the ground and new comer to the club Josh Conder was great off half back with plenty of drive into the forward fifty.

Kev Taylor and Steven McIntyre showed their age and only managed 5 goals between them for the day.
